Google.com Creation Date and Expiration Date

Do you know on which date Google was launched ?

Google was launched on 15th September 1997. But official date of birthday of Google is 27th September.

I was just searching when will Google.com expire ? and I found Google is expiring on 2011-09-13. Surely, Google will renew the domain. But it was very interesting to see Google.com expiration date is very close.

Can you imagine If Google forget to renew the domain Google.com ?

I think it will never happen.
