Google Change the Position of URL in Search Engine Result Pages

Google Change the Position of URL

Last month, Google was testing the placement of URL in search engine result pages. Today, I think Google implement it globally or it may be another testing by Google.

But its looking very ugly. I do not like the position of URL appearing in Google search engine.

In Mozilla Firefox and Google Chroma browser, I found Google place the URL below the Title. See the snap shot below



But in Internet Explorer the result are showing as normal. See the image as below.

Logo1w - What is logo1w in Google ? Why Google give the Logo image name as logo1w ?

What is logo1w ?

logo1w is the name of Google logo. Its very interesting Google give their main logo name as logo1w.png and used image type as .png

Why Google give logo name as logo1w ?

I do not know, why Google has given the logo name as logo1w ? and I think Google did not use image optimization for this, because there was no use of giving name as logo1w.png. I think for better image optimization logo.png would be best and suitable name, but Google did not use this name.

After researching, I found that logo direct URL is http://www.google.com/intl/en_com/images/srpr/logo1w.png (It is working)

I tried http://www.google.com/intl/en_com/images/srpr/logo1.png (return 404 Error Page)

Also, I tried http://www.google.com/intl/en_com/images/srpr/logo.png (return 404 Error Page)

Both logo1.png and logo.png were not working. So, there may be any special reason Google give name as logo1w.png

Can you save Google logo directly ?

If you are using www.Google.com then can save Google logo. But if you are using www.google.co.uk or www.google.ca then you can not save image directly.

This means you can save logo of Google only from www.google.com

(1) For Google.com

Open Google.com and right click on the Google's Logo and with this you can save image directly. See the image



(2) For Google.co.uk or Google.ca or for any other country

You will see their would be no option for saving Google's logo. See the snap shot below

In Google How to Display 10, 20, 30, 50 and 100 Results Per Page ?

How to Display 10, 20, 30, 50 and 100 Results Per Page in Google Search Engine ?

By default Google is showing only 10 results per page. Its very interesting to know how to make 20, 30, 50 or 100 results per page. You can make it very easily.

Follow these Steps

Step 1: Find navigation bar in Google (which became black navigation bar)

Step 2: Find Search settings and click on Search settings. See the image



Or Directly go to Google Preferences

Step 3: Find Google instant and click on Do not use Google Instant (because for Number of Results This option is unavailable when using Google Instant) See image below



Step 4: Now find Number of Results. See image below



Find Display 10, 20, 30, 50, 100 results per page and click on Save Preferences button according to your requirements of result per page. For example, If you want to Display 30 results per page the choose 30 and click on Save Preferences button.

Next time, when you will search any query then Google will not show you 10 results par page. It will show you 30 results per page.

Problem in Image Uploading in Blogger

Do you have blog on blogger ? Are you try to uploading image in blogger and getting problem in blogger ?

Today, I found a bug in Blogger. Blogger is not uploading images right now. I think it may be any temporary problem in blogger.

While trying to uploading images I am getting following errors

There were error during upload

The following images were not uploaded.

This image can not be uploaded due to internal error.



I do not about this internal error. I think only blogger can fix this internal error.

Did you notice Google make changes on Navigation Bar ?

Google make changes on the Google home page. Now white navigation bar changes to black navigation bar. I think it may be any experiment by Google.

I think no you can not change it right now. I think in future you can remove it, If Google make some changes.
